Marc Paro

CEO

No pursuit of profit, but striving for the optimal result together with the customer. That is what Marc wants. Marc maintains contact with his customers as he highly values optimal service and involvement. He is only ever satisfied if the customer is satisfied. He inherited this mentality from his father ir. Jos Paro. It should thus come as no surprise that Marc is leading Paro Software together with Frank. Marc’s honest mentality and his enthusiasm suit him well. Outside of office hours, Marc likes to play tennis but he enjoys good food and a good glass of wine even more. Quality above everything for Marc.

Frank Halma

CTO

“Craftsmanship is mastery” is best applied to Frank. His sense of finesse, his eye for detail and his devotion to functional and aesthetic design make him a skilful engineer. He aims for minimalistic manifolds with a maximum reach, just like he aims to say as much as possible with as few words as possible because Frank has a no-nonsense mentality. While programming software Frank strives for simplicity, reliability and effectiveness. So no ado. However, Frank does like to take a detour in his spare time. For example during his walks in the dunes or when he spends time with friends. Without a doubt, Frank is an essential chain in the connections at PARO Software & Engineering and we are talking about more than just a hydraulic manifold.

Wouter van der Zwan

Software Engineer

Resident magician of code, Wouter programs our software to be light, smart, and reliable. A software engineer's job is never done because great software is dynamic, and constantly evolving. One of Wouter's goals is to think of ways HydroSym can communicate with other programs and applications so that our customers all over the world can easily implement it within their unique workspace. Something unique about Wouter's home space is a flourishing vegetable garden on his balcony featuring a number of pepper varieties. Being dynamic need not only apply to software.

Marco van der Horst

Engineer

Marco is a manifold designer with more then twenty years of engineering experience and a long standing member of the Paro team. He is usually found in front of two screens navigating manifolds of various complexities with true enjoyment. Marco approaches life with the same gusto. On the weekends he likes to spend time fishing and partaking in culinary adventures.

Marjolein Otto

Operations Manager

Marjolein is the all around Account Manager for our clients and makes sure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She oversees the financials, human resources and operations. She also cheerfully takes on the role of maître d' for our on-site training days. Even in her free time Marjolein enjoys contributing as a board member of sport clubs she is part of. But she can relax as well by hitting a few balls on the tennis court and spending time with family.

Eric Ott

Engineering

For the really tough questions we will most likely refer you to Eric. He has a talent of breaking down complexities into straight forward solutions. This is probably the result of him knowing the software through and through having given demo's to hundreds of users over the course of eight years at PARO. Eric balances his engineering mind by flexing his creative muscle with a few sets on his drums.

Alla Feldman

Marketing

A self proclaimed futurist and technologist, Alla leads our sales and marketing efforts. The goal is to reach all those that are looking for a streamlined approach to their hydraulic design process. Fascinated with the intersection of humans and machines, Alla advocates for the right "separation of tasks" where machines take over repeatable tasks giving us more time to be creative in our work. She is a true fan of our clients, basing our marketing strategy around highlighting their success. Outside of work Alla can be found enjoying outdoors, especially the beach, regardless of the weather.
