In this video, we take a closer look at the updated Danfoss PVG valve library in HydroSym.
Since PVG sections are among the most commonly used components in mobile hydraulics, the library has been significantly improved to make these valves clearer, more accurate, and easier to work with.
The updated PVG components now feature fully defined ports, correct connection sizes, accurate internal representations, and consistent technical attributes - helping your schematics behave much closer to real PVG valve groups.
Building PVG Valve Groups
To demonstrate these improvements, we build two example schematics: a standard open-center configuration and a more advanced closed-center setup.
You’ll see how PVG sections can be added by typing component codes, by using the green connection button to automatically find compatible modules, or by dragging components directly from the library.
Working with Advanced Configurations
As the valve groups take shape, the benefits of consistent port naming, layout, and internal logic become clear. Even more complex or specialized PVG modules connect cleanly, repeated working sections can be reused, and the overall workflow remains smooth and predictable.
Final Output
Once the schematic is complete, we generate a print preview to show how the final PVG valve group will appear when documented or shared.
We hope this update helps you work faster and with greater confidence when building PVG valve groups in HydroSym. To learn more, please watch our other tutorials or contact our team.
