This valve is not fitted with a
reverse free flow check. If this
facility is required, a separate
check valve must be supplied.
NOTE: Drain line should be piped
directly back to tank. Any back
pressure in the drain line will be
additive to the sequence pressure.

SEQUENCE VALVE
PILOT OPERATED, SPOOL TYPE
■ Extremely flat pressure rise to flow characteristics.
■ For sequential operation of actuators.
■ Integral 250 micron pilot flow filter.
■ Hardened working parts for maximum durability.
■ Adjustable and tamperproof versions available.
OPERATION
The adjustable spring-loaded ball in the pilot section is shifted at valve
setting by pressure sensed through an orifice in the main spool from port
[3]. The resulting pilot flow creates a pressure drop across the spring-
loaded main spool that then opens allowing relief flow to port [2]
independent of back pressure in this port. A small increase in pressure on
port [3] fully opens ports [3] to [2].
Reverse flow, [2] to [3], is blocked. Back pressure on port [1] adds to the
valve setting.
