DESCRIPTION
A direct-acting, spool-type, proportional, pressure reducing/relieving valve. It is a third
generation HydraForce drop-in, flange-mounted cartridge-type valve for use with
mineral-based or synthetic (with lubricating properties) hydraulic fluids. The coil is an
integral part of the valve and cannot be replaced or field-serviced. The regulated pres-
sure is proportional to the input electrical current in the pressure ranges shown.
OPERATION
The EHPR98-G35 allows free flow from 1 to 3 when no current is applied to the coil.
When the coil is energized, 2 is connected to 1. Increasing current applied to the coil
will increase the control (reduced) pressure proportionally. If pressure at 1 exceeds the
setting induced by the coil, pressure from 1 is relieved to 3.

Operating Fluid Temperature: -40 to 149°C (-40 to 300°F), with HNBR seals; -26
to 204°C (-15 to 400°F), with fluorocarbon seals; -54 to 107°C (-65 to 225°F) with
polyurethane seals.
Maximum Control Current: 1.3 amps for 10 VDC coil; 0.94 amps for 12 VDC coil;
0.78 amps for 14 VDC coil; 0.56 amps for 20 VDC coil ; 0.47 amps for 24 VDC coil;
0.39 amps for 28 VDC coil.
Control Pressure at Maximum Control Current: 20 bar (290 psi)
Hysteresis: 4% with 120 Hz PWM
