DESCRIPTION

A screw-in, cartridge-style, adjustable oriﬁ ce, pressure-compensated, manually-oper-

ated hydraulic ﬂ ow regulating valve (restrictive type).

OPERATION

The FR12-23 maintains a constant ﬂ ow rate out of ➁ regardless of load pressure

changes in the circuit downstream of

➁ or upstream of ➀.

The regulated ﬂ ow increases from closed to fully open with counter-clockwise rotation

of the adjustment screw. The valve will maintain the set ﬂ ow regardless of pressure

variations on the regulated or inlet port. Reverse ﬂ ow (

➁ to ➀) bypasses the control

oriﬁ ce.
