FR12-20F Regulator, Pressure-Compensated

DESCRIPTION

A screw-in, cartridge-style, ﬁ xed oriﬁ ce, pressure-compensated, hydraulic ﬂ ow

regulating valve (restrictive type).

OPERATION

The FR12-20F maintains a constant ﬂ ow rate out of ➁ regardless of load pressure

changes in the circuit downstream of

➁.

The ﬁ xed control oriﬁ ce is factory preset to customer ﬂ ow speciﬁ cation. The valve

begins to respond to load changes when the ﬂ ow through the valve creates a

pressure differential across the control oriﬁ ce greater than 5.5 bar (80 psid), with

accurate ﬂ ow maintenance from 7.6 to 240 bar (110 to 3500 psid). Reverse ﬂ ow

(

➁ to ➀) returns through the control oriﬁ ce and is non-compensated.
