FR50-20F Regulator, Pressure-Compensated,
DESCRIPTION
A screw-in, cartridge-style, fi xed orifi ce, pressure compensated, hydraulic fl ow
regulating valve (restrictive type) for operation up to 345 bar (5000 psi).
OPERATION
The FR50-20F maintains a constant fl ow rate from ➀ to ➁ regardless of load
pressure changes in the circuit downstream of
➁.
The fi xed control orifi ce is factory preset to customer fl ow specifi cation. The valve
begins to respond to load changes when the fl ow through the valve creates a
pressure differential across the control orifi ce greater than 5.5 bar (80 psi), with
accurate fl ow maintenance from 7.6 to 345 bar (110 to 5000 psi). Reverse fl ow
(
➁ to ➀) returns through the control orifi ce and is non-compensated.
