FR10-20F Regulator, Pressure-Compensated
DESCRIPTION
A screw-in, cartridge-style, fi xed orifi ce, pressure compensated, hydraulic fl ow
regulating valve (restrictive type).
OPERATION
The FR10-20F maintains a constant fl ow rate out of ➁ regardless of load pressure
changes in the circuit downstream of
➁.
The fi xed control orifi ce is factory preset to customer fl ow specifi cation. The valve
begins to respond to load changes when the fl ow through the valve creates a pres-
sure differential across the control orifi ce greater than 5.5 bar (80 psid), with accurate
fl ow maintenance from 7.6 to 240 bar (110 to 3500 psid). Reverse fl ow (
➁ to ➀)
returns through the control orifi ce and is non-compensated.
