Proportional Pressure
Reducing Valve
SAE 10-Cartridge – 350 bar
PDR10P-01
Spool Type – Pilot Operated
bis 100 l/min
bis 350 bar
The PDR10P is a 3 way spool type
proportional pressure reducing valve
with relief included. Its main task is to
keep the pressure at port 1 (consumer)
constant.
In the de-energized mode port 2 (pump)
is connected to port 1 while the pilot
stage is open. If the pressure at port 1
rises above the setting, dened by the
electrical control signal (de-energized
setting
≤ 5 bar), the pressure at port 2
is metered off to maintain the adjusted
setting at port 1.
As a function of the electrical control
signal the regulated pressure at port
1 can be changed steplessly. If the
pressure at port 1 rises above the
setting, port 1 is vented to tank at port 3.
Any pressure is directly additive to the
pressure setting.

Notes:
The PDR10P can also be supplied with an emergency pressure adjustment (version
–01M). This allows a mechanical pressure adjustment of the valve if the electrical signal
is interrupted. This adjustment should be used only in case of electrical failure since the
manual setting would be additive to the electrical setting and the danger of equipment
damage could develop.
In order to achieve optimal function, any trapped air should be vented with the bleed
screw on the face of the tube (not tted to version –01M).
