DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
The HYDAC PWK10EW is a 5/3 proportional directional valve, closed in the centre
position when de-energised, blocking all ports.
When coil S1 is energised, ow passes through the ports in directions 5 to 2 and 4 to 3.
When coil S2 is energised, ow passes through the ports in directions 5 to 4 and 2 to 3.
The coils are to be energised alternately. The ow rate is proportional to the level of coil
energisation. In continuous operation, the proportional coils can be supplied with the
max. control current and the switching coils with 70 % of the max. permitted nominal
voltage.
Whenever a coil is energised, the load sensing port 1 (LS) is connected to port 5 (pump).
