DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION
The direct-acting 2/2 directional valve is a solenoid-operated poppet valve with
electronic switch position monitoring, closed in both directions in the normal position.
When the solenoid coil is de-energised, the valve blocks ow leaktight in both
directions. When energised, the valve opens and allows ow in both directions.
The valve’s open switching position (actuated by the solenoid) is monitored. The
sensor reports the change in switching position shortly before the valve reaches the
open position / shortly after it leaves the position.
Notice:
No metering orice is permitted just before port 1. Only “diuser orices” may be
used.
Notice:
Switching characteristics and switching times are strongly dependent on the
pressure dierence and the ow rate during the switching process. This is especially
the case for valves with poppet seal and/or position monitoring.
