EPRV1-16 - Proportional Valve

Description
This is a low pressure propor-
tional pilot operated pressure
reducing valve with a reverse
relief screw in cartridge valve.
It is ideal for the control of
compensators on a pump or
brake and clutch systems on a
transmission circuit.
Operation
This valve remains open from
port 2 to port 1 (port 3 must
be vented). Once the prede-
termined pressure is reached
at port 1, the spool shifts to
restrict the inlet flow at port 2,
which regulates the pressure
at port 1.
If the pressure at port 1
exceeds the setting of the
valve, the spool will shift far-
ther and relieve to port 3.
