Redesign Intermediate Plates - SMDR-..., SRV-..., and SRE-...
Series, Nominal Sizes 6 and 10
The SMDR-... (previously SRDB-… / SRDZ-…), SRV-... (previously SRV-…) and
SRE-... (previously SREZ-…) intermediate plates, nominal sizes 6 and 10 will be delivered in a
revised technical design from March 2023.
As of Q1/2023, the changeover of the existing intermediate plates with optimized and improved
design will take place continuously.
For customers, the important points are:
̶ Series SMDR-..., the overall length has increased for both nominal sizes due to the longer
adjusting screw on which a hand-knob can optionally be mounted.

̶ Series SRV-..., for both nominal sizes, sealing and intermediate plates are no longer
required, as the O-rings are integrated directly in the intermediate plate. Other functions
are also available. The dimensions remain unchanged.

̶ Series SRE-..., the overall length has increased minimally for both nominal sizes. (For
further information, see data sheet)
General Information:
̶ Functionalities remain the same for all model ranges
̶ Intermediate plates are 1:1 interchangeable
(partially increased overall length)
̶ Basic parameters remain the same
̶ Improved Dp values for various functions
̶ Laser-inscribed model specifications directly on the intermediate plate
incl. serial number traceability
̶ Optionally with improved corrosion protection (ZiNi)
̶ New model codes for all model series (extended ordering code)
̶ New part numbers are used for all new intermediate plates
̶ The changeover is cost neutral
̶ Ongoing changeover Q1/2023 start approx. March 2023
