Type Z2DB .. VD, Series 2X
Characteristics:

Z2DB pressure valves are pilot operated
pressure relief valves in sandwich plate
design.
They are used to limit the differential
pressure from A to B or B to A.
The valves mainly consist of housing (1)
and two pressure valve cartridges (2).
The pressure present in channel A is
applied to the poppet (3) of one cartridge
and at the same time to the spring-loaded
side of the poppet (3) via the orifice bore.
At the same time pressure is present at
the poppet (6) via the orifice bore (5). If the
pressure in channel A rises above the
value set at the spring (7) the poppet (6)
opens against the spring (7). Pressure
fluid flows from channel A via the orifice
bores (4 and 5) into channel B. This
causes a pressure drop at the poppet (3).
The connection A to B is opened.
When there is a pressure increase in
channel B the same process takes place
in the other cartridge and the connection B to A
is opened.
