electromagneticallyactuated4/3-waydirectionalvalve.
Thepumpdisplacementisinnitelyvariableineachow
directionandisinuencedbybothpumpdrivespeedand
systempressure.Theowdirection(i.e.machinemoving
forwardorbackward)isdeterminedbyeithersolenoid
aorbbeingactivated.
Increasingthepumpdrivespeedgeneratesahigherpilot
pressurefromtheDAcontrolvalve,withasubsequent
increaseinpumpow.
Dependingontheselectedoperatingcharacteristicsofthe
pump,increasingthesystempressure(i.e.machineload)
causesthepumptoswivelbacktowardsasmaller
displacement.Anoverloadprotectionfortheengine
(againststalling)isachievedbycombiningthis
pressure-dependentreductioninpumpstrokewitha
reductioninpilotpressureastheenginespeeddrops.
Anyadditionalpowerrequirement,e.g.forhydraulic
functionsfromattachments,couldcausetheengine
rotationalspeedtodropfurther.Thiswillcauseafurther
reductioninpilotpressureandthusofthepump
displacement.Automaticpowerdistributionandfull
exploitationoftheavailablepowerareachievedinthis
way,bothforthetraveldriveandfortheimplement
hydraulics,withprioritygiventotheimplementhydraulics.
VariousoverrideoptionsareavailableforDAcontrol
functiontoallowcontrolledoperationoftheimplement
hydraulicswithhighrotationalspeedsatreducedtravel
speed.
TheDAcontrolvalvecanalsobeusedinpumpswithEP,
DG,HWandHDcontrolmodulestoprotectthe
combustionengineagainstoverload.

General
Theaxialpistonunitmustbelledwithhydraulicuidand
airbledduringcommissioningandoperation.Thismust
alsobeobservedfollowingalongerstandstillastheaxial
pistonunitmayemptyviathehydrauliclines.
Particularlyintheinstallationposition"driveshaft
upwards",llingandairbleedingmustbecarriedout
completelyasthereis,forexample,adangerofdryrunning.
Theleakageinthehousingareamustbedirectedtothe
reservoirviathehighestdrainport(T
1
,T
2
).Forcombination
pumps,theleakagemustbedrainedoffateachsingle
pump.
Ifashareddrainlineisusedforseveralunits,makesure
thattherespectivecasepressureineachunitisnot
exceeded.Theshareddrainlinemustbedimensionedto
ensurethatthemaximumpermissiblecasepressureofall
connectedunitsisnotexceededinanyoperatingcondition,
particularlyatcoldstart.Ifthisisnotpossible,separate
drainlinesmustbelaid.
Topreventthetransmissionofstructure-bornenoise,
useelasticelementstodecoupleallconnectinglinesfrom
allvibration-capablecomponents(e.g.reservoir,frame
parts).
Underalloperatingconditions,thesuctionlineanddrain
linemustowintothereservoirbelowtheminimumuid
level.Thepermissiblesuctionheighth

totalpressureloss;itmustnot,however,behigherthan

The
suctionpressureatportSmustalsonotfallbelowthe

Werecommendusingabafe(bafeplate)between
suctionlineanddrainline.Abafeimprovestheair
separationabilityasitgivesthehydraulicuidmoretime
fordesorption.Apartfromthat,thispreventstheheated
returnowfrombeingdrawndirectlybackintothesuction
line.Thesuctionportmustbesuppliedwithair-free,
calmedandcooledhydraulicuid.

Theprojectplanning,installationandcommissioningof
theaxialpistonunitrequirestheinvolvementofskilled
personnel.
Beforeusingtheaxialpistonunit,pleasereadthe
correspondinginstructionmanualcompletelyand
thoroughly.Ifnecessary,thiscanberequestedfrom
BoschRexroth.
Beforenalizingyourdesign,pleaserequestabinding
installationdrawing.
Thespecieddataandnotescontainedhereinmustbe
observed.
Dependingontheoperatingconditionsoftheaxial
pistonunit(workingpressure,uidtemperature),
thecharacteristiccurvemayshift.
