The valve is used for distributing the liquid in the hydraulic
circuits using a slide. The slide moves in a steel housing
and is adjusted by the pressure of the working fluid acting
on the front surface of the slide (X). The pressure requi-
red to changeover the slide is adjustable by pressing the
spring adjusting screw. The transfer of the force exerted
by the spring to the slide through hardened steel ball in
the axis of the motion greatly reduces the effect of radial
forces on the slide and its jamming in the housing. The
slide allows interconnection of the centre channel (S) with
one of the outer channels (P, T). The valve is available in
two interconnecting versions. In the SD26 interconnecti-
on and with the slide in the intermediate position all three
channels are interconnected, and in the interconnection
2D29 the channels are separated. The liquid from the area
is drained by an external spring outlet (Y) and thus cannot
influence the magnitude of the set pressure.
In basic version the valve body and the setting screw are
zinc coated.
